Wash Windows Before Winter Sets In

I’ve been a spray and wipe window cleaner for years until I was recently introduced to the glorious world of using a squeegee to clean my windows. Now my windows sparkle year round because this is the quickest and easiest way to keep the glass clean.

First buy a high quality squeegee at your home improvement center. This is critical, ask for the ones the “professionals” use, the ones where you can easily replace the blade…they stock them! Then you need a big bucket, nothing fancy, and a little bit of dishwashing soap. Use a scrubber or sponge to wet the window and immediately squeegee it dry. If you’re doing this in freezing weather, add a little bit of windshield washing liquid that doesn’t freeze as you work.

Use a rag for touchups and voila! Beautiful view!
